1. Application of laser fluorination system to measure the 3-O isotopes of terrestrial and extra-terrestrial materials to classify the new meteorites, understand the processes happened in the solar nebula and/or on the parent bodies.
2. Application of silicon isotopes to bridge three interrelated research areas including evolution and differentiation of the Earth, meteoritics and impact hydrothermal mineralization.
3. To develop macro-/micro-analytical protocols to be used for comprehending the cosmochemical and geochemical processes that causes agreement or disagreement in geochemical and isotopic features of meteorites and rocks.
4. The CO2 Clumped isotope geothermometry to constrain the temperatures of ocean and carbonate formation at subsurface levels; special emphasis is on application of these isotopologues to carbonaceous meteorites (e.g., Tagish Lake) to constrain the surface temperatures and composition of water at planetary bodies that potentially have caused the aqueous alteration processes
